Through the program, you have access to Wells Fargo's full range of home financing programs, including  your First Mortgage^SM, a low down payment option for both first and repeat homebuyers.

Talk to a home mortgage consultant about loan amount, type of loan, property type and homebuyer education requirements to ensure eligibility. Keep in mind that with a low down payment, mortgage insurance will be required, which increases the cost of the loan and will increase your monthly payment. We’ll explain the options available, so you can choose what works for you.

Refinance a Home

Looking to refinance? The Union Plus Mortgage program might be able to help you lower your monthly mortgage payments and/or shorten your loan term.

When you refinance and mention your eligibility as a verified union member, you'll receive a $300 My Mortgage Gift^SM  award from Wells Fargo Home Mortgage after closing to be used at participating retailers.¹

The Union Plus Mortgage Program is available to:
- Dues-paying labor union members of participating unions
- Retired labor union members
- Spouses, children and parents of union members
When you buy or refinance a home through the Union Plus Mortgage program and experience income loss, turn to  Union Plus Mortgage Assistance. The program provides interest-free loans and grants to help you make mortgage payments when you're disabled, unemployed, locked out, or on strike.

Over the life of the Union Plus mortgage assistance program, we've provided more than $12 million in assistance to union members.  Check details and eligibility for loan/grant assistance.

Note: The first $1,000 of the loan benefit is a one-per-lifetime grant that does not need to be repaid. If you qualify for the mortgage assistance program, you will also receive an additional, one-time only $1,000 grant paid directly to you.
